World Ocean Day

To mark World Ocean Day on Monday 8th June, Kids Adventurist is heading to Saltdean Beach for a special home ed beach session.

We’ll meet at the front of the tunnel on Saltdean Beach at 11am, ready to make the most of low tide at around 12.30pm.

The plan?

Rockpooling.

Beach exploring.

Coastal creativity.

And a simple beach clean to give something back to the place we’re enjoying.

This is a stay-and-play session, so parents and carers stay with their children throughout. I’ll be there to guide the activities, spark ideas and help children explore the shoreline safely and curiously.

Best suited to children aged 8+, although younger children are welcome, under direct parent/carer supervision.

World Ocean Day is a reminder that caring for the ocean starts close to home. Sometimes that means learning what lives in a rockpool. Sometimes it means picking up a bit of litter. Sometimes it just means standing by the sea and noticing how incredible it is. Sometimes, it's putting our feet in the water and the feeling between our toes.
