Meet the team
Embrace the wild, embrace the fun.
Savor the laughter, the stories, and the shared experiences that spark a love for the great outdoors. Let's create memories that will last a lifetime!
Our goal is to ignite that same passion in children (and their families) and inspire them to become lifelong adventurers or certainly, enjoyers of the outside.
Kids Adventurist offers a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children (and families on some sessions) to connect with nature, learn new skills, and make memories.
At Kids Adventurist, we believe in the power of the outdoors and its ability to open young minds to a life of exploration, curiosity, and growth.
We strive to provide a fun and supportive environment for children to develop their confidence, teamwork, leadership, and creativity through hands-on adventures in nature.
Meet Matt
Matt - Forest School Leader and lover of the outdoors.
Matt believes in the magic of nature and its ability to inspire and teach children in so many ways.
I am dedicated to creating a safe and engaging environment for children to explore, discover, and learn about the natural world around them - and have a LOT of fun in the process. My aim is to encourage a sense of wonder and curiosity in everyone, nurturing love for the outdoors and fostering skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.
Beyond his forest school certification, Matt is chair of the Saltdean Swim & Surf Club, a local charity dedicated to surf life-saving. As a qualified Surf Life Saving Coach and water safety (under SLSGB), Matt brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. Matt is also a qualified STA swim and running coach with RunPals, so knows how to ensure that you and or your children will have a blast and stay active in the great outdoors during Kids Adventurist sessions.
Importantly, he's also first-aid trained and DBS checked, ensuring your child's safety is always a top priority.
"I firmly believe we need to let kids be kids and let adults be kids too! There are many distractions in life today, so sometimes, being free and choosing your own activities is all we need to do to inspire a lifetime of outdoor enjoyment."
