Saltdean Primary
Exclusively for Saltdean Primary School pupils in Years 1 through 6, we are excited to announce our Autumn Half Term Forest School Club!
Please note that this opportunity is not yet available for Reception year students.
Join us every Thursday from November 7th to December 19th for an afternoon of fun and learning at Kids Adventurist Forest School at Saltdean.
The club runs from 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM, with pick-up at the school office entrance.
We aim to keep the group small, so we can offer attention and focus on developing forest school skills and activities.
We do have back-up indoor space should the weather ever turn unsafe for us to be outside, so rest assured the sessions will carry on through to the Christmas break.
The sessions are led by Matt Coyne, a Forest School Leader at Saltdean Primary, is qualified forest school leader and outdoor first aid qualified.
Activities could range from learning to whittle, outdoors arts and crafts, cooking / creating over fire and more.
The cost per session is £6 per session, bookable in term chunks (£42).
Of this £6, 30% of the fees will go towards funding a space for children that cannot otherwise attend and 30% will go towards investing in equipment / resources for existing in-school forest sessions with the remained going into operating costs and materials for the sessions.
