Kids Adventurist delivers two full days of child-led, outdoor-based exploration, ideal for kids aged 7–12 who love freedom, fresh air and real outdoor play.
This isn’t a standard holiday club — it’s a child-led adventure experience in a beautiful ancient woodland environment. Children are supported, encouraged, and empowered to make choices, solve problems, build real skills and develop confidence through forest play, tool use, fire lighting and outdoor cooking.
With use of a chalet onsite for dry shelter if February weather turns, we combine the best of woodland exploration with thoughtful safety and comfort for winter conditions.

Important Parent Info
Because we are based outside, as long as it’s safe to do so, to ensure the children are prepared for their day, we need to ensure that they bring:
Changes of clothes - in case they get wet in the stream!
Outdoor shoes / wellies and spare pair of trainers (if they get too wet / muddy)
Waterproof trousers / coat
Layers - lots of layers. they can take them off and store them in our dry chalet, but if it gets cold, the more layers the better
Warm hat / glove / snood / buff - keeps the cold at bay
Packed lunch - no nuts, plus a snack for morning and afternoon. We typically cook up a treat at some point, if the weather allows.
